Floats made of citrus fruit and highly talented marching bands characterize this colorful parade that winds through the streets of downtown Orlando and attracts more than 90,000 spectators. Admission is free. The Citrus Bowl Parade serves as a prelude to the Capital One Bowl, which matches the second-ranked college football teams of the powerhouse Big Ten and Southeastern conferences at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium on New Year’s Day
The Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium is owned and operated by the City of Orlando and is part of the Orlando Centroplex, which includes the Amway Arena, Bob Carr Performing Arts Center and the Expo Center.
